NFL Showdown: Minnesota Vikings Challenge Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Week Five Fixture
Important Player Metellus Expresses Thoughts on Special London Vibe
Selected in 2020, Josh Metellus is set to participate in his 4th global contest, despite the Vikings suffered a loss in Ireland last week. Earlier, they secured victories in both their previous games to Tottenham. Metellus remarked, "We must keep that streak going," mentioning his eagerness for another London event.
"Typically, in a game, the fans display identical team shirts, but on the way to the arena at Tottenham, I noticed approximately thirty-two different kits—I observed each franchise," said the player.
"I was like 'oh my, I believed it was a Minnesota match.' But that was really cool to observe, fans just enjoy NFL. I encountered a lot of diverse fans of all shapes and sizes, who appreciated the game and the activities leading up to it. You don't necessarily have to support a specific team, you know. It's just watching the game and falling in love with it."
Regarding if that created a unique atmosphere: "Absolutely. The fans at London do a great job of generating enthusiasm. Whatever squad comes out with the greatest intensity can gain an advantage and rally the spectators, so indeed, it definitely produces a special occasion. It's almost like a collegiate championship. It's a neutral site where it could go either way, based on momentum and similar factors."
"I really like the stadium," he added. "It feels like a great spot to play overseas. The changing facility's excellent, the atmosphere when you walk inside, it seems as if the attention is focused on you. I'm a huge admirer of playing in venues that are comfortable, especially ones that we triumph at!"
