The former president's Granddaughter Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete maintains substantial online following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of prominent cheerleaders when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns several international courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He basically suggested to go out there and relax," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in only three events this year and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.

"He represents the best player worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior human being. He advised me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically among youth audiences.

The young star boasts substantial online presence and recently launched a personal fashion and living company.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
